So you have an aspiring Frieda Kahlo or a Pablo Picasso at home. You surely cannot hide creativity and it is definitely wrong to restrict them. Your home, at present is at risk, though. The walls, furnitures, upholstery, floorings and carpets may have to bear the burnt of your little painter at home.
Carpets usually face a greater risk to get defaced. While watching TV, or lounging by the fireplace, little sparks of imaginative mind, smalls parts of school assignments can appear on the big canvas of a carpet. Crayons, pen inks, permanent markers are the usual tools. The task falls on you to remove these pieces of art and knowledge, until the time comes for them to be mounted on walls, on proper canvas or paper. Though it may be futile, keep on reminding the kids about the use of paper, give them an ample supply of drawing sheets, keep drawing books lying around at strategic places, arm them with washable crayons and paints. Along with these, keep yourself stocked with materials to remove permanent marker stains, and be prepared to use them.
